“As Clouds of White and Pink”

The cherry blossoms from the trees as clouds of white and pink

Gently flutter around your head and I’m wondering what you think

Each time you try to reach and touch the hand I pull away

My silence crashes down on all the lovely things you say

I sit and stumble for the words to make you feel alive

Because deep down inside of me I want us to survive

The mandarin duck calls for his mate he’d chosen long ago

She hastens to his loving side for the warmth she’d come to know

And as the two begin anew their Love affair so tender

I dream that it is you and I so lost in sweet surrender

Longing to kiss your honey mouth that beckons for my own

Wanting to feel you next to me and make you mine alone

My thoughts replay so many scenes locked in your embrace

The fragrant scent of your warm breath exhaling near my face

Taking me down to the earth beneath a Lover’s tree

Deep inside so close that I feel you’re a part of me

Fingers touch with need so much wanting to explore

Each and every inch of you I’m needing more and more

Why did I wait or hesitate to become one with you

The way I feel’s so very real the truth is shining through

With each and every single touch and kiss that I take in

I want another one from you then to begin again

How did I live how did I breathe how did I get along

Before I knew that loving you made me so very strong

To you I give my life my all yes everything I give

Without your Love I think I’d die without it I can’t live.
