In the Glow of Your Glorious Bloom

Luna MothMoth to a flame, I am drawn to you, my glorious golden flower.

You hypnotize with your magic glow and lead me by your power.

Perhaps the flame will burn my wings and I shall no longer fly.

Perhaps I’ll fall from Paradise and this fair moth shall die.

And yet I see a golden flower bloom forth before my eyes.

I long to be in Paradise beyond these earthly skies.

For what I see has blinded me and taken thought away.

To reason more, I am not sure; oh, what a price to pay.

For I will kiss the flower which glows bright before my eyes.

I’d give my life to bathe in the light of my golden Paradise.

If this flower be but a guise and not true love for me,

I will go down to the depths below and cry for eternity.

So, I spread my wings and fly so high to meet the golden light

And kiss the glow that shines from below to warm my lonely night.

Flower of love spread your petals wide to embrace this winged bird.

I long for you to love me too; yet not a sound could be heard

As I singed my wings and plummeted down to earth to meet my doom,

I was misled by love’s blind light in the glow of your glorious bloom…
