30 Poems in 30 Days
This is the month for poetry and I have been adept
At keeping up with writing thirty poems to be exact
I am quite the rebellious type and don’t hold with tradition
Yet have found it to be courteous to follow the rendition
Of my fellow poets who have labored on victoriously
Throughout the month of April sharing daily poetry
It’s been a time for writers to prove themselves noteworthy
By offering up their noble pens to rally on harmoniously

Thank you, Danielle! I was away from the internet for another 7 days due to family commitments, so it was difficult for me to write. However, I penned out a few while I was away and just threw that last one together at the very last. I guess I was a bit like the turtle finishing the race. I started out much too quickly and wore myself thin at the finish. However, I did complete my mission.
