Poetry

Pen to paper merge within a special place in time
Of inspiration’s prompting to sit and write a rhyme
Evoking hidden feelings lying deep within my soul
Traversing through my memories I find I can extol
Remembrance of the years as they pass swiftly by
Yearning for a glimpse of hope for dreams that didn’t die

  1. A well-written poem stunningly illustrated. Those “hidden feelings” that come up and the phrasing and so forth can turn out to be a surprise … thank goodness, often pleasant.
