Word without Caress

Forgive me for my banishment

As swallowed pain of distance surrounds you

In daylight hours of longing

In whispered hours of night

Constantly troubled by my absence

Your aching flesh trembles and quakes

As wearied mind searches solution

There is no forgetting

I am forever etched upon your heart

Flying in circles within your mind

As time ticks away ever slowly

Walking through gardens of insanity

As volatile winds whisper my name

Nothing is real and everything is pain

A tightening ring expelling little breath
