I want your fragrance in my breath

Exhale your essence with this kiss

Renew the beauty drawn by death

Of hope that Love from you exists

The blissful magic in your eyes

Creates in me volcanic thunder

As molten lava begins to rise

Deep within the spell we’re under

The hollow place within your hand

Was made for mine and mine alone

It’s there I’ll place a silver band

The day I take you for my own

For you were made for me since birth

The angels came to tell me so

Our names resound throughout the
earth

For it was written long ago

This Love of ours would be divine

Far greater than the highest measure

Your heart was meant to beat with
mine

For your heart is my greatest treasure

    There are many attempts at poems about love on WordPress but few are worthy of even a glance. Yours, however, was a great exception. Enjoyed it!

    That’s very passionate.
    It even has a little ‘Twilight’ type passion and obsession there, especially the last two lines.
