Peace is a Butterfly

Peace is a butterfly fragile and bright

Born by the power of luminous light

That dances on air and sings to the soul

A glorious song that is called wonderful

Inhale the power of peace to your being

Soon all inhibitions and anger are fleeing

Your mind and your body until it’s restored

And all of your senses are in one accord

Others will see the sweet smile on your face

Then follow your footsteps to the same place

For peace is a temple that many still seek

By finding their way to the glorious peak

And walking the path of the ones who are strong

They stay on the path that is narrow and long

Yes, peace is a butterfly fragile and bright

Born by the power of luminous light

Alights upon my shoulder
Whispering words of love
In answer to my prayer

  2. You have taken words of truth and made a beautiful hymn. This line: “Yes, peace is a butterfly fragile and bright,” is so very true. And, this line: “Born by the power of luminous light,” is exceptionally beautiful.
