April 17, 6 B.C., when the sun, Jupiter, the moon and Saturn aligned in the constellation Aries while Venus and Mars were in neighboring constellations.

You are the root of David

The Bright and Morning Star

The roaring Lion of Judah

That is what You are

Born to set men free

The Savior of the earth

The lovely Rose of Sharon

Oh night of wondrous birth

A star in brilliance shone

So brightly in the sky

To herald forth Your coming

And foretell the reasons why

The angels sang in glory

Their songs of jubilee

To tell the earth about the birth

Of Jesus Christ the King

Noelle, Noelle

Oh glorious, magnificent star

Guide me to the Perfect Light

Lead me to where You are
