Regional Haiku

I have a firm grasp

On all my mind can capture

Mother Nature speaks

The old Grand Canyon

Carved by the Colorado

Is so breathtaking

San Francisco Peaks

In Flagstaff Arizona

Volcanic remains

Meteor Crater

A landmark created by

A giant impact

Petrified Forest

Known for its fossils and trees

Transformed by nature

London Bridge fell down

And rose at Lake Havasu

England weeps her loss

The ultimate hope

Of the Navajo Nation

Lies within the wind

Outside my window

The Little Painted Desert

Stands in its array
