Another Year

I fell into another year

Another year without the cheer

Of holding you close by my side

I’ll ring the year and try to hide

The pain I feel that racks my heart

Another year – still we’re apart

As glittered faces cheer and kiss

I’ll fall into the deep abyss

Of missing you now more than ever

And vowing that we’ll be together
