To Greet My Beloved

I move

As the rise and fall

Of salty waves

To greet

Relentless urges

Cloaked in madness

Inhaling languid kisses

As I explore

Your being

We blend

Like colors from a palette

Splashing across a page

Of vivid yearning

Our hearts beat

Pulses of red

This crimson sea of love

Churns our desire

Into ecstasy

I then drift

In the stillness

Of your waters

Clinging to the hand

Of my beloved

I write about the greatest force on earth that, I believe, lives on forever and surpasses all else. "All your poems read like I am watching an artist use words instead of colours full of feeling." ~Anon.
