doomsday, climate change, nuclear weapons

Meandering in circles

I am nowhere to be found

As sporadic hope

Drips down the walls

Of tarnished dreams

Smoldering tears awash

Kohl-lined eyes that peer

From under a dank silken

Hood of insignificance

Doomsday clock strikes

Three ‘til midnight

Again and again and again

When will the bells toll

Ever so slowly for me?

About Kay Salady

I write about the greatest force on earth that, I believe, lives on forever and surpasses all else. "All your poems read like I am watching an artist use words instead of colours full of feeling." ~Anon.
