Nocturnal Rapture

A flow of vivid blue within the sepulcher of sleep

Releases spectral splashes, alternating deep

Before prismatic visions of a love I cannot see

Severe and penetrating, he is overwhelming me

Propelling waves of pleasure that intensify with time

I crawl within his vacuum, and long to make it mine

Our quivering consummation takes all breath away

I inhale deep within my sleep, wanting so to stay

Residing in his rapture – never waking from my sleep

Yet I awake, as I intake the breath he tried to keep
