The Deceived

A requiem for yesterdays

Hidden very far away

As nimbus draw to congregate

Swirling, they delineate

Ancient beings in the sky

Mnemosyne appears and I

Recall a buried memory

Best forgotten, lest I see

An apparition once expelled

Loosen his restraints from hell

Achieving entry once again

Through a porthole of disdain

Overwhelming every sense

His manipulation so intense

That everything I once believed

Has been erased by the deceived
