Saffron Queen

Saffron Queen

Enduring beauty inspires

An empty sky to blush

The clouds to roll away

And ocean waves to rush

Toward a silhouette

Flawless and serene

Clothed in saffron robes

Graceful and pristine

Bathed in finest oils

Fragrant incensed hair

Henna stains her nails

Her eyes outlined with care

With kohl a fine kajal

Made from sandalwood

Jewels adorn her ears

Of amber fine and good

Music softly plays

With every step she takes

And breath flies far away

With every move she makes
