Gathering Morsels

Gathering Morsels

I begin to gather the remnants that remain

Of morsels strewn along the sands of time

I try so to recover the pieces of my life

Wholly surrendered to your unholy hands

Still, you tug at me with the eyes of a child

And I must recall to whom they belong

Should their crystal beams come to enchant

During the empty hours of my disadvantage
