Inside of Me

Too many nights

I lie here empty

Calling out your name

And I go insane

Wondering what to do

Too many mornings

I wake up lonely

Crying out for you

No, I’m not so strong

I can’t keep holding on

I see your eyes, see your smile

And I begin to cry

I guess you wonder why

I’m so in love with you

I look deep into my soul

And find you sitting there

Flashing bright and true

You’re the light

You’re the fire

That keeps me holding on

When all else is gone

You’re inside of me

In the night, in the day

And in the silver sky

You’re the reason why

I go on another day

Being strong for you

Flashing bright and true

You’re the light

You’re the fire

That keeps me holding on

When all else is gone

You’re inside of me
