Twilight’s Longing

 Twilight's Longing

You are the heavens

And I, the lowly earth

This bleak horizon

Longs to meet you

During twilight’s hush

When crimson clouds

Disperse into the amber sun

Where Venus dances

In amethyst and indigo

With a glint of hope

That one may wish

For silver dreams’ fruition
