My Sweet Obsession

My Sweet Obsession

You, my obsession

The apple I’d bitten

Over and over

Juicy and sweet

Tossing and turning

Frenzied by hunger

Filled with your passion

Yet still incomplete

Wanting possession

Consuming each morsel

Inhaling your ashes

The fragrant aroma

Still lingers on me

And I burn in my longing

Scream in the waiting

Exploding in anguish

Empty again

Frantic to touch you

My sweet obsession

Wanting possession

And you’re to blame
