Something Lost

Something Lost

Forgotten places
Something lost
My fingers reach to touch
Behind the edge of memory
Soft and tender
Kissed with lemon
Then brushed with shadows
Displacing their appeal
Somehow a capricious fairy
Came with her light
To cover the darkness
A small child should have
Never seen

About Kay Salady

I write about the greatest force on earth that, I believe, lives on forever and surpasses all else. "All your poems read like I am watching an artist use words instead of colours full of feeling." ~Anon.
