A Minstrel’s Garden

A Minstrel's Garden

Tonight, we chase our fantasies

As the silver dew drips twilight

Upon each wildflower expression

In a minstrel’s verdant garden

So soothingly, they unfold

Rousing understanding

For each extraction conceives a breath

Through which obscurity pardons

There, visionaries weave enchantment

Lulling us to follow imagination’s glow

Alchemy transforms our dance upon the dew

Into a touch of radiance where fantasy is born

Bliss appeals meanderingly throughout

The rays of sagacious, fragrant light

That ride along each puff of air

Cooling the senses only flesh adorns

Hallowed are the secrets of the breeze

Gathered in this field of vibrant green

Nurtured by the minstrel’s soulful song

Evoking them to blossom into clarity
