One minuscule tear
Hidden with my sorrow
Swiftly runs away
From your imposing gaze
Fading into blue
Along with thoughts of you
As I regress to yesterday
And I so hate to feel this way
Each time you look at me
It’s very plain to see
You never cared
As I stare down at the floor
I drown in sadness
This little flower on the wall
Never blossomed, at all

About Kay Salady

I write about the greatest force on earth that, I believe, lives on forever and surpasses all else. "All your poems read like I am watching an artist use words instead of colours full of feeling." ~Anon.
