Must I attempt to live or die
It seems insane to even try
My image chills me to the core
The beauty that I’d known before
Is buried in this earthly clay
Where taste and smell still permeate
Each layer of your memory
Embedded by the ecstasy
Of having known the touch of you
And now no other touch will do
