Empty the Night

Empty the Night

What am I to do

When thoughts alone won’t do

Dwelling in the darkness

This is my existence

Inhaling quiet walls

Where every memory falls

Soft upon my shoulder

What am I to do

When all I want is you

To take away my sadness

And where am I to go

Because you’ll never know

The love inside of me
