Birdsong

Nightingale (blue-throated)

Awake, fair lark and nightingale

Come break the silent dawn

With vibrant songs of urgency

Arise, fair lark and nightingale

Come fly above this lawn

Alight, and bring your melody

Alas, fair lark and nightingale

Come break the silent dawn

I write about the greatest force on earth that, I believe, lives on forever and surpasses all else. "All your poems read like I am watching an artist use words instead of colours full of feeling." ~Anon.
