The Essence

He breathed his wondrous spirit into this clay

With charismatic eyes filled with love and purity

Kindred to that of my own as harmony united

Both longing for the day to meet the long-awaited

Willing to stand blameless and lowly at his feet

For hearts can see far past the entrance to a soul

Beyond this flesh and bone to the everlasting

Breath-to-breath in bliss ‘til end of breath we stay

About Kay Salady

I write about the greatest force on earth that, I believe, lives on forever and surpasses all else. "All your poems read like I am watching an artist use words instead of colours full of feeling." ~Anon.
