Embellishment

Embellishment

I sit in silence
For this ache is too intense
To assume to ease
With the honey from your tongue
Or the tears that I can’t taste
It seems that I misuse
These precious hours of time
Wasting them away
On trinkets of insanity
That crumble in my hand
And turn to rust
