Ambiguous Desire

Ambiguous DesireThe mare is in the meadow
Dancing in the sun
Her mane is freely flowing
Behind her as she runs
Through the sparkling waters
And blossoms on the green
She stops but for a moment
For fear she may be seen
Wild is her brave spirit
And clear is her intent
To captivate bystanders
But not without consent
To touch

Taurus stands before her
And cunningly admires
A queen in all her glory
One whom he desires
Tempting him with softness
Enthralling him with dance
Stirring ash to fire
Kindling the romance
He runs toward the forest
To hide within the trees
Smitten by her beauty
He fears that she may see
His rage
