Turbulence

Turbulence

Rousing the ashes

Inside of my soul

For one tiny spark

To ignite

Then, how I burn

How my body quakes

Weeping for you

In the night

Touch provokes touch

As I hunger for more

To quiet

My raging need

Clawing for comfort

I pass through the fire

Feeling my poor

Heart bleed

Searching the shadows

For your soft eyes

To somehow

Keep me warm
I lie bereaved

For emptiness follows

Each tumultuous storm
