A Broken Heart

A Broken Heart

A broken heart denied by man
Sold for silver, forgotten, then
A broken heart sweat drops of blood
In agony, he understood his choice
A broken heart hung on a hill
Weeping for the world so filled with sin
A broken heart drew his last breath
Cried out to God, gave in to death
This broken heart flew far away
To realms above until the day
He returned to rise again
Restored, before the mortal men
Who then bowed to praise his name
The world would never be the same
Again
