Fall into Me
Fall into me
No need to be
Fearful or shy
No, I won’t try
To make you cry
Nor injure you
So tap into
That bit of you
Who can feel again
I want to see
A bit of me
Inside your eyes
We’ll fall into
The me and you
Who can know
The sweet refrain
Where laughter rains
On rendezvous
Down avenues
As burnished leaves
Descend from trees
That lent their shade
To summer days
And all the ways
Love had come
To greet the soul
Without a care
No, did not dare
Deny the fall

This reads with such verve.
Love the rhyme sounds you chose. A perfect Valentine Day’s poem.

smiles….i like the feel of helping them over that hump of love…easing them into what can be a rather dramatic fall…smiles.

It does take a bit of trust to “fall into” someone…but how delicious when we do and we can. Yes, this is romantic…I like.
